Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (CCPA/CPRA)

Last Updated: February 24, 2026

This page explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Nothing on this page overrides our full Privacy Policy. For complete details on our data practices, please review that policy.

What We Actually Do With Your Data

GoTradeSchools.com does not sell personal information. We do not use cookies, behavioral advertising, retargeting, or user tracking on this Site.

Here is a plain-language summary:

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and collects no personally identifiable information.

Lead forms. We do not operate any lead capture forms directly. All enrollment inquiry forms on this Site are hosted and operated by third-party schools and training providers. When you submit one of those forms, your data goes directly to that partner. We may receive a confirmation signal that a submission occurred for affiliate payment purposes, but we do not receive or retain the personal details you entered.

Where a “sale” or “sharing” may technically apply. Under broad state law definitions, data flows through third-party embedded partner forms may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” even though we do not receive or hold that data ourselves. Your rights with respect to those submissions must be exercised directly with the school or training provider that received your information.

Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • Opt out of targeted advertising (applicable in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Montana, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws)
  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information
  • Appeal a decision if we deny your request
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit any access, deletion, correction, or opt-out request using our contact form:

https://gotradeschools.com/contact/

Include the following in your message:

  • Your full name
  • The state you reside in
  • The type of request (opt-out, access, deletion, correction, or appeal)
  • Any relevant details such as the page or form you interacted with and an approximate date

Verification. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

Authorized Agents. If you are submitting a request on behalf of a California resident, you must provide written proof of your authority to act on their behalf. We may also require the consumer to verify their identity directly with us.

Response Time. We will respond within 45 days. If an extension is reasonably necessary, we will extend up to an additional 45 days and notify you of the reason.

Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by resubmitting through the contact form with “Appeal” noted in your message. We will review and respond as required by applicable law.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required. Because we do not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising, GPC signals have limited practical effect on our own data practices. They do not affect the independent data practices of third-party partner form operators.

Partner-Hosted Forms

If you submitted a school inquiry form on this Site, we do not hold your personal data from that submission and cannot fulfill rights requests on your behalf for that data. Contact the school or training provider that received your form directly. Their privacy policy governs how your information is handled once submitted.

Scope Notes

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

Children. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of consumers under 13 years of age, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Third-party sites. When you navigate to a school or partner website from a link on this Site, their privacy policy governs all further use of your information. Submit any rights requests to those entities directly.
